Gurudas Muthukaruppan
Founder & CEO, Coding Bunnies
Gurudas is the founder and CEO of Coding Bunnies LLC. He is a 7th grader at The Overlake School with a passion for teaching and technology. He began leading camps and workshops at the age of 8 and has since taught at schools such as The Eton School and Glendale International School.
Outside of coding, Gurudas enjoys speed cubing, soccer, Fortnite, and experimenting in the kitchen. He competed at the U.S. Nationals for speed cubing and was selected for the Kids Baking Championship thanks to his creative flair in baking.
Gurudas does a lot of volunteering work and has raised money for causes close to this heart since he was 7 years old. He is the recipient of Presidential Gold volunteer service award for two years in a row.
Vaishnavi Sannidhanam
Co-Founder & COO, Coding Bunnies
Former Principal Engineering Manager, Microsoft
Vaishnavi Sannidhanam is a seasoned technology leader and dedicated community volunteer based in Redmond, Washington, who currently serves as the regional director for two non-profits Love to Share Foundation America and Global Organization for Divinity. Before transitioning into the non-profit sector in 2020, she built a distinguished 15-year career at Microsoft, where she rose to the level of Principal Software Engineering Manager, where she worked on the Visual C++ compiler and also in Visual Studio. Her technical and leadership foundation is anchored by a Master's degree from the University of Washington, where she also contributed as a Teaching Assistant, and a Bachelor's degree from California State University - East Bay. Currently, she focuses her professional background on humanitarian efforts, supporting the foundation's mission to empower diverse communities through education, health, and cultural initiatives.
Siva Sivaraman
Head of Data Science and AI, Coding Bunnies
Senior Applied Scientist, Microsoft
Siva Sivaraman is an Applied Scientist in the Developer Division at Microsoft (Visual Studio), focused on applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to understand source code and enhance developer productivity. With an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, Siva specializes in Machine Learning, particularly at the intersection of Computer Vision and Natural Language Understanding. Passionate about technology, mathematics, and innovation, Siva enjoys mentoring others and exploring ideas that bridge AI research and real-world impact.
Siva leads the Data Science and AI educational wing at Coding Bunnies and loves to engage in positive conversations with the children to foster a love for learning and understanding computers.
Deepika Balachander
Volunteering Head of STEM, Coding Bunnies
Software Engineer, Google
Deepika Balachander is a software engineer with over a decade of experience in the tech industry, including 3.5 years at Microsoft and 8.5 years at Google. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering from RV College of Engineering (Bangalore) and an M.S. in Computer Networking from North Carolina State University.
Deepika is passionate about mathematics, algorithms, and coding, with a strong focus on building efficient and elegant technical solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and running, embracing challenges both in nature and in technology. As a parent she enjoys spending time with her son.
Deepika leads the STEM Education Program at Coding Bunnies, where her passion for inspiring young minds in STEM—and Computer Science in particular—shines through. She volunteers her time to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that broaden children’s curiosity and confidence in technology.
